Pasture Raised Hogs

We raise Berkshire cross hogs. We are a Farrow-to-Finish farm which means the pigs we sell for meat each fall were born on and spent their entire lives on our farm. We have 5 sows who we breed once a year to provide us with the piglets we raise for meat. We do offer a limited number of feeder pigs for families who are interested in raising their own meat. 

Our hogs are raised on pasture and rotated to fresh pasture frequently. These hogs are free to run around their pastures and do all the things pigs love to do. In addition, our hogs are fed locally grown Non-GMO feed and the cover crops we plant in the paddocks including radishes, turnips, peas, and brassicas. These pigs produce a beautifully darker colored meat that is both nutrient dense and delicious!

 

Our animals are sold by the whole or half. We charge $4 a pound hanging weight, this does not include processing/butchering.
